Amanda Bynes’ lawyer, who was hired by the actress at a time when she was deemed incapable of hiring an attorney, filed a petition on February 6, asking for a payout of $16,380.47, according to a report by Eonline.
Several days before the troubled actress was put in an involuntary psychiatric hold last year, Bynes hired an attorney to represent her at a competency hearing. The attorney claimed that he regularly visited Bynes to remind her to take her prescription medicines. He also said he tried seeking for the payment by sending an invoice to Bynes’ family lawyer, but had not received any yet.
The court will hear the issue on March 10.
A conservatorship ruling last year granted Amanda Bynes’ parents the right to take care of the actress’ financial affairs.
