Keystone’s accomplished attorneys shared their expertise on critical legal topics through presentations hosted by the Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) and myLawCLE. These informative sessions cater to legal professionals seeking Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits.

Fiduciary Misconduct Involving Trusts

Partner Monica Yun and Managing Partner Shawn Kerendian led a compelling discussion on fiduciary misconduct related to trusts during a CEB presentation in December 2023.

The session delved into various forms of fiduciary misconduct, exploring legal remedies for such breaches. A notable case study highlighted the consequences of poor trustee behavior and strategies to prevent future misconduct.

Attorney Fees in Trusts and Probate

Partner Roee Kaufman and Shawn teamed up for a CEB presentation in January 2024, focusing on attorney fees within trust and probate contexts.

Attendees gained insights into fee structures for probate administration, trust administration, and litigation. The discussion emphasized transparency and fairness in fee arrangements.

Attorney's Guide to Probate

Associate Jenna Schneider delivered this comprehensive seminar in February 2024.

The webinar covered estate administration from inception to final distribution. Attendees learned about initial documentation, best practices for opening probate, handling estate debts, addressing creditor claims, and considerations specific to California real property assets.

The presentation concluded with practical advice on court filings during the estate administration’s final stages.
