Keystone’s 2022 Q2 Firm Events Recap

Search

As always, creating an inclusive culture with fun workplace activities is at the forefront for Keystone’s management team. We have held several firm events for employees to enjoy since the last newsletter that ranged from happy hours to lunches to wellness and community outreach events.

Check out the events below for a recap!

Firm Photos & Happy Hour

n April, Keystone held a firm photo and video shoot to capture our growing team that has more than doubled in size over the last couple of years, and to also capture our expanded and renovated suite (more to come in the next edition). Due to our hybrid and remote schedules, this was the first time where our entire team, including our fully remote team members, were able to gather together in the office, which was cause for celebration at Jonah’s Kitchen in Santa Monica. Everyone enjoyed Tulum inspired drinks and cuisine, and were able to mingle with those who came into town for the event.

Earth Day Beach Clean-Up

On April 23rd, a team of Keystone employees attended the Earth Day Beach Clean-Up hosted by the Sea Sprite Hotel at Hermosa Beach. The first team gathered for a quick breakfast burrito and spent the morning cleaning the beach. “I loved volunteering for this event for earth day. I’ve never done a beach clean-up before and I’m happy I got to do it with such a great group of people,” said HR Coordinator Brittany Aldridge. This was a great opportunity for the team to bond and give back. As part of the Earth Day celebrations, Julia Sukhong also created a flyer providing tips on recycling and ways to be conscious of our environment.

Administrative Professionals Day Lunch

Administrative Professionals Day is celebrated on the Wednesday of the last full week of April. Keystone took this day to fully show our appreciation to our wonderful support staff team, including paralegals, legal assistants, receptionist, client relations specialists, and our hardworking HR, billing and marketing teams. Each team member received succulents and a personalized thank you card for all of their hard work and dedication. To celebrate the day together, the team enjoyed a delicious three course lunch at Terra Restaurant located on the rooftop of Eataly in the Century City mall.

Mental Health Awareness Month

As part of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, Keystone held a Yoga class to give our team members an opportunity to unwind and relax. This class was offered in person with an option for remote employees to join in virtually as well. Team members were able to show off their flexibility (or lack thereof), as well as set mindful intentions for their day and weeks ahead.

Top Golf!

Last but definitely not least, in June, we hosted a happy hour outing at the brand-new Top Golf in Los Angeles where everyone got to show off their golf strokes while enjoying drinks and appetizers in a private area. We also took this opportunity to welcome our summer law clerks and bid farewell to, our legal assistant who is starting law school this fall. Best of luck in law school, Jane!
Coming up this summer, we’re hosting our annual Summer Party at the Viceroy in Santa Monica and we’re attending a Dodgers game together as a team. Stay tuned!
