For our first ever Partner Retreat, the Firm rented out a stunning private property in Palm Springs. Over the 3-days of events, Partners enjoyed the sun and heated pool in our converted private boutique hotel, ate delicious food, participated in creative team-building exercises, such as an escape room, and a mixology class, and attended the BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament in Indian Wells.
It wasn’t all fun and games though. The Partners also had multi-day meetings including discussing firm strategy and growth, as well as a consultant who taught a leadership workshop on “Managing People to Perform”. This was valuable training that delved into building strong teams and developing practical management strategies.
Roee Kaufman, partner at Keystone, summarized his experience with the partner retreat, highlighting the relaxed atmosphere and the cohesiveness of the team. “One of the amazing things about working at Keystone is that all of the employees, partners especially, genuinely enjoy spending time together. It was great to get out of the office and bond together for a few days in a relaxed setting.”
Verlan Kwan, another partner who was in attendance, talked about how it was a great combination of relaxation and productivity. “The partner retreat was a fun time where we were able to work and relax afterwards with our work family.”
This much-needed respite turned out to be the optimal blend of fun, team building, and developing new plans and leadership skills.
