Partner Joshua Taylor Becomes Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law

Search

Keystone is proud to announce that Joshua Taylor, a Partner at Keystone Law Group, has passed the Legal Specialist Examination and become a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by the State Bar of California (Board of Legal Specialization).

Josh has been with the firm since its year of inception in 2014, and has nearly two decades of litigation experience, including probate-related first-chair trial experience. He supervises a team of associates and senior associates in the litigation of trust, estate, conservatorship and guardianship matters, and routinely represents trustees, executors, heirs, administrators, conservators, and beneficiaries in these litigated matters. Josh is also one of five members of Keystone’s Executive Committee, which has general management responsibility for overseeing the strategic direction of the firm and representing its interests, as well as maintaining and enhancing the success of the firm’s practices. He has also been selected as a Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers Magazine since 2020.

“We are thrilled to have Josh as a certified specialist in our firm,” says Managing Partner, Shawn Kerendian. “I have had the privilege to work alongside Josh for almost a decade now. He is not only an outstanding attorney who has proven his expertise and proficiency in the complex field of probate litigation, but he is also a great person. We look forward to celebrating his continued successes.”

To become a certified specialist in California, an attorney must pass an all-day examination, demonstrate a high level of experience in the specialty field, complete ongoing education requirements, and be favorably evaluated by other attorneys and judges familiar with his or her work. Only a small percentage of attorneys in California earn this distinction.

Keystone is honored to have Josh as one of its Partners and certified specialists. The firm highly values this specialization and professional development in our area of the law. Keystone is committed to providing its clients with specialized, focused, and efficient legal services in probate matters.
