Keystone would like to recognize Steven A. Urenda, Nicole Silverstein, Elizabeth Hicks and Julia Sukhong on each of their one-year anniversary with the firm. We are thrilled to have them as a part of our growing team and appreciate all their hard work over the past year.
Steven is a Senior Associate who practices primarily in trust, estate, and conservatorship litigation matters. Both before and after joining Keystone, he has represented numerous trustees and administrators in recapturing assets that had been erroneously removed from their respective estates, and successfully litigated and settled countless cases on behalf of beneficiaries, trustees, and administrators.
Nicole is also a Senior Associate who takes a well-rounded approach to probate disputes and the issues facing families in conflict during incapacity and post-death. As a former family law litigator, Nicole brings a breadth of knowledge to the firm as countless probate cases involve community/separate property characterization issues. Nicole has also been a member of our firm’s Professional Development Committee and has been an integral, and valued, member of our Professional Development Committee since its inception. In addition to being a co-presenter for our initial in-house seminar on the drafting and use of declarations in probate litigation, Nicole also successfully presented our application to obtain Continuing Legal Education credit from the State Bar for our attorneys who attended that first program.
Elizabeth is our Billing and Administrative Assistant and assists the Operations Manager with the firm’s billing functions, which include processing invoices, client payments, as well as acting as a liaison with clients regarding billing questions. Elizabeth has also been assisting our Human Resources team, is a member of our Social and Employee Appreciation Committee and has been an integral part of planning some of the wonderful events you have read about. Elizabeth wears many hats here at Keystone, assisting several different departments with various projects.
Julia is a Legal Assistant who supports several Partners and Associates at the firm and assists with the day-to-day of client-related matters. Julia is also a member of our Social and Employee Appreciation Committee, and her great eye and creativity has also made her our in-house flyer guru. Julia created the wonderful flyers our firm has shared, including those focusing on Earth Day one and Mental Health Awareness.
