Every year, Daily Journal—one of the state’s premier legal publications—honors 40 up-and-coming California attorneys under age 40 for exceptional performance in their area of the law. Keystone is proud to announce that its newest and youngest partner, Roee Kaufman, made the list for 2022. Congratulations to Roee for all of his achievements, hard work and dedication—not just at the office but also outside of it!
Roee never turns down an invitation to share his extensive legal expertise. While he frequently lectures law professionals, he also has offered his legal insights to the mass media outlets News Nation and Insider when asked about pop star Britney Spears’ controversial conservatorship. He is, likewise, very active in assisting Keystone’s marketing department reach its goals.
While at Keystone, Roee has primarily focused on trust, estate and conservatorship litigation; however, he also has successfully briefed probate appeals both reversing and affirming trial court orders. There is no type of client within the scope of probate that Roee has not represented. He has worked with everyone from personal representatives to trustees, to beneficiaries and heirs, to conservators and creditors. Mr. Kaufman’s experience spans all phases of litigation, from case intake through mediation, trial and/or arbitration.
Roee is no stranger to awards, as he has also been named as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers from 2019 through 2022.
