Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner David Cowan dismissed a guardianship case over Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow Walker, ending the legal battle over who will take care of the 15-year-old teenager, according to an Associated Press article published on May 28.
The decision to reject the case was reached after Meadow’s legal counsel, Amy Nieman, assured that the surveillance of the court was no longer needed because a suitable care plan for Meadow had been established. Henceforth, Meadow will live with her mother with the help of a nanny.
Nieman added that Meadow’s mother, Rebecca Soteros, is currently sober and has been spending time with her daughter. Soteros previously struggled with alcoholism and is currently receiving treatment for it.
