According to a BBC News report, a court agreement has ended a legal battle on guardianship of 16-year-old Modern Family actress Ariel Winter.
In a court hearing, Ariel’s mother, Chrisoula Workman, decided to end her battle for Ariel’s guardianship as long as she watched a sentimental video montage of family and childhood photos. Ariel agreed, so she will continue to live with her sister, and her father will continue to manage her finances.
Ariel, also known as Alex Dunphy on Modern Family, has been living with her sister since 2012 following allegations that her mother had been subjecting the actress to physical and emotional abuse. Her mother denies all allegations of abuse.
