An anticipated legal battle over where to bury actor Mickey Rooney was halted after his estranged wife decided not to push through with her claim, CNN reported earlier this month.
According to the report, Mickey Rooney’s wife and the executor of his will both agreed that Hollywood Forever cemetery will be Rooney’s final resting place, and not the burial plot the actor bought before separating from his wife. The agreement also prohibits his stepson, Chris Aber, from attending the funeral service.
Mickey Rooney died at 93 and left an estate valued at $18,000.
