To help make possible an educational event geared toward probate, trusts and estates, Keystone proudly served as a Gold Sponsor of the USC Gould School of Law 48th Annual Trust and Estate Conference, which was held on November 9 at Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites in Los Angeles. Representing Keystone at the conference were Firm Administrator Biana Kerendian and Marketing Coordinator Jennifer Soares. Keystone attorneys Managing Partner Shawn Kerendian, Partner Cliff Melnick and Senior Associate Monica Yun, who has since been promoted to partner, were also attendees at the day long MCLE.
As a result of our sponsorship of event, the firm had a booth, which we used to network with our fellow professionals. We offered attendees a free baseball, football or basketball stress-relief ball and we also raffled off an Apple iPad to one lucky winner. Keystone also handed out a recently published Daily Journal Top Boutiques column written by both Lindsey and Shawn, describing the common pitfalls in estate planning and how to avoid them.
With over 300 professionals attending in person and some more attending virtually, the event was successful in its mission to foster learning opportunities and valuable connections for its attendees.
