Shelly Sterling’s camp claims leverage over her estranged husband Donald Sterling after the probate judge ruled in favor of their case on two occasions at the resumption of the Sterling Family Trust trial on July 21, USA Today reported.

Judge Michael Levanas decided not to reject the statements of the two doctors who stated that Donald Sterling does not have the mental capacity to remain a co-trustee on the Sterling Family Trust. This would give Shelly the authority to sell the L.A. Clippers. The judge also prohibited Donald’s lawyers from calling Shelly’s attorneys to testify, denying them the chance to confirm that Shelly’s lawyers are all part of a plot that sought to expel their client from the family trust.
