22-year-old reality T.V. star and the only heiress of the late Whitney Houston died on July 26, the International Business Times reported.
Her $20 million inheritance has been the subject of speculation in the months before her death. According to reports about Whitney Houston’s will, Bobbi Kristina’s two uncles, Michael and Gary, and grandmother Crissy Houston, would receive the estate in the event of her daughter’s death. The late singer’s ex, Bobby Brown, was removed from the will after their divorce in 2007.
It has also been speculated that Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, would receive the inheritance after the two announced their marriage in January 2014. However, Bobbi Kristina’s father said there is no official court record of marriage between them.
In January, Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in a bathtub at her house in Georgia. For nearly six months, she was placed in a medically induced coma and was cared for in a hospital before being transferred to hospice care.
