Keystone would like to congratulate Managing Partner Shawn Kerendian and Partner Lindsey Munyer for receiving the “Best Lawyers” and “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch” awards, respectively, from Best Lawyers magazine, one of the top publications recognizing legal talent worldwide. Together, they litigated several high-profile cases, including one that recently culminated in a published Court of Appeal decision. Despite the challenges of the past year, Shawn and Lindsey remained as committed as ever to serving their clients.
Shawn founded Keystone as a niche practice specializing exclusively in probate, trust and estate matters to provide clients with focused and efficient legal services. Since the firm’s inception in 2014, it has grown from three employees to 20, 11 of which are attorneys. Shawn has been recognized as a “Top 40 Under 40” attorney by Daily Journal, California premier legal newspaper. He also has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer,” and before that, as a “Rising Star” for five years in a row by Super Lawyers magazine. Additionally, Shawn is AV-Rated by his peers on Martindale-Hubbell for exhibiting the highest level of professional excellence. He has presented on probate topics at the USC Leventhal School of Accounting and National Business Institute, among other venues. Shawn is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law (Board of Legal Specialization, State Bar of California).
Lindsey is a partner at Keystone who is experienced and adept at handling all stages of trust and estate litigation. Lindsey has always been eager to share her vast legal knowledge with the Los Angeles law community, which she has accomplished by teaching Trusts and Estates at Glendale University College of Law for two years and by presenting on probate topics for the National Business Institute. Lindsey has also been recognized by Daily Journal as a “Top 40 Under 40” attorney, and as a “Rising Star” for four years in a row by Super Lawyers magazine. The publication also named her as one of the top 50 female attorneys in Southern California. Lindsey is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law (Board of Legal Specialization, State Bar of California) and has an L.L.M. in Taxation.
