Biography
Stefan O’Grady is a Senior Counsel at Keystone Law Group, P.C. With two decades of litigation experience, including 15 years of probate litigation experience, Stefan represents beneficiaries and fiduciaries (professional and non-professional) in contested and non-contested probate, trust and conservatorship matters. He also handles estate and trust administration issues. His expertise in all areas of trust and estate law allows Stefan to anticipate the needs of his clients to help them effectively protect their rights in and out of the courtroom.
During law school, Stefan was a Comment Writer for the International Law Journal, a member of the Appellate Moot Court Board, Vice-President of the International Law Society, and a member of the Student Bar Association. At graduation, Stefan received the Practicing Law Institute’s Award for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy and the Chair Award for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy.

Stefan received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine where he graduated cum laude. Stefan received his law degree from University of San Diego School of Law. Stefan also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of San Diego, School of Business Administration where he graduated magna cum laude.

Representative Matters
- Successfully represented client at trial in contested conservatorship securing client's appointment as Conservator of the Person of his incapacitated mother
- Obtained resolution on behalf of disinherited client in contested trust matter totaling approximately $1 million and obtaining a court order suspending trustee for breach of his fiduciary duties
- Obtained terminating sanctions against a recalcitrant litigant for violating court discovery orders
- Obtained resolution for client in a removal action securing the trustee's voluntary resignation in favor of a professional fiduciary including agreement to pay client's attorney's fees and costs
- Represented a conservator of an estate requiring management of hundreds of real properties in various jurisdictions throughout the United States
- Successfully obtained client's appointment as limited conservator of a disabled child's person over the objections of the child's father
- Successfully resolved contested Petition for Substituted Judgment to establish a trust for a conserved person whose estate was valued at more than $25 million
- Obtained a settlement for client for one-half of an IRA valued at $2 million based on claims of undue influence
- Successfully represented spouse of a conserved person related to the contested sale of real property avoiding personal liability to the client for diminished sale value
- Successfully litigated contested Prob. Code section 850 petition to have real property located in various jurisdiction in the United States deemed assets of a disputed trust
