Jeeni R. Casey is a Senior Associate at Keystone Law Group, P.C., specializing in probate, estate, and trust litigation. Jeeni is a seasoned litigator, with previous experience in civil, business, and real estate litigation as well as several specialty areas. She honed her probate litigation skills at a reputable boutique law firm, where she successfully represented a diverse range of clients, including trustees, administrators, executors, beneficiaries, creditors, conservators, and guardians in a wide range of disputes.

Representative Matters

  • Successfully obtained dismissal of an action with prejudice on behalf of surviving spouse that was brought by stepson to invalidate a will and trust and claimed of financial elder abuse of decedent
  • Successfully represented beneficiary in enforcing her rights to an insurance policy where decedent’s children from a prior marriage claimed fraud
  • Successfully represented beneficiary in enforcing her right to an annuity worth millions where decedent had filed for divorce proceedings prior to death
  • Successfully obtained settlement to invalidate sale of property to third party and real estate agreement based on allegations of fraud and elder abuse, preserve living settlor's estate
  • Successfully obtained resolution and distribution to client during litigation on behalf of beneficiary of trust against sibling trustee for breach of duty, removal of trustee, and surcharge of trustee
  • Successfully defended father of minor trust beneficiary against various claims by trustees and counter filed and obtained removed uncooperative trustees, appointing an independent trustee, and return assets to minor’s trust
  • Successfully recovered millions of dollars in cash and assets for caretaker by enforcing their beneficial rights in two separate trusts where the estate planning attorney failed to provide the settlors with certificates of independent review
  • Successfully represented daughter of decedent in an action to invalidate decedent’s newly revised trust, which primarily benefited decedent's new spouse and was contrary to decedent’s long-standing estate plan which had always benefited his children
  • Successfully represented third administer appointed to an estate to finally sell estate real property and close and distribute the estate that had been open for 15+ years
  • Provided advice and guidance to trustees and personal representatives in the administration of trusts and estates, to minimize the risk of litigation by the heirs/beneficiaries
  • Represented administrators, executors and trustees in estates and trusts valued from a few hundred thousand dollars to tens of millions of dollars
  • Successfully litigated for and defended against will contests and trust contests involving claims of mental incapacity, undue influence, fraud, duress, and forgery
  • Prosecuted financial elder abuse claims on behalf of heirs of a decedent
  • Obtained long overdue accountings from executors, administrators, and trustees on behalf of numerous heirs and beneficiaries
  • Represented creditors in enforcing claims and judgments against the estates and trusts of decedents
  • Handled arbitrations, mediations, and settlement conferences in state and federal court
  • Regularly represent and advise clients in conservatorship matters
