Sara E. Truitt is an Associate at Keystone Law Group where she focuses on probate and trust litigation. Prior to joining Keystone, Sara worked at a boutique law firm where she devoted half of her practice to probate and trust litigation and administration and the remainder of her professional time to civil litigation claims. Sara has appeared before multiple probate courts and has represented clients in matters involving undue influence, fraud, elder abuse, trustee removal, recapture of assets, and conservatorship. Sara has valuable experience from the inception of a case through appeal and is dedicated to using her legal knowledge and experience to help clients through difficult probate-related conflicts and procedures.

During law school, Sara participated in Scott Moot Court and Entertainment Law Review, where she gained valuable legal research and writing experience. She also served as an extern at the California Court of Appeal, Second District, Division One for the Honorable Victoria Chaney and as a law clerk in the appellate department of a criminal defense firm in downtown Los Angeles.

Sara received her dual undergraduate degrees in Political Science and French from the University of California, Riverside, and her law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.

Representative Matters
  • Represented multiple trustees and administrators in recapturing assets rightfully belonging to their respective trusts/estates.
  • Successfully defended against bad-faith petition for undue influence and to remove trustee and secured client trustee’s compensation of 5% of the value of the trust assets as set by the Trustor.
  • Successfully obtained Letters of Administration for clients in probate and ancillary probate matters.
  • Obtained favorable settlement in petition for undue influence and to remove co-successor trustee following multiple amendments to a family trust during the last few months of the Trustor’s life.


Outside of practicing law, Sara is an avid reader who also enjoys yoga, skiing with her friends, golfing with her dad, and brushing up on her French.
