Jeffrey S. Cohen is Senior Counsel at Keystone Law Group, P.C. with more than two decades experience as an established Probate Attorney. Jeff started his career with a small firm handling probate matters, prior to opening his own private probate practice. In time, Jeff joined a boutique firm in the probate litigation department, handling many matters that involved cross-over probate and family law issues. Subsequently, Jeff practiced in a Top Am Law 100 firm before he decided to join Keystone’s dedicated probate litigation team.
Jeff takes a client-centered approach and considers himself as a “Counselor at Law,” attempting first to understand disputes and potentially resolve matters. That said, Jeff enjoys the advocacy and litigation process, including all elements and stages: pleading, discovery, and trial. Jeff routinely represents financial institutions, professional fiduciaries, and individuals in probate matters, including without limitation, Trustees, Executors, Agents, Beneficiaries, Heirs, Creditors and interested persons to a litany of probate issues, both prosecuting and defending all types of matters.
Jeff received his undergraduate degree from California State University, Northridge and his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law. In law school, Jeff received the “CALI Award” in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Southwestern’s “Exceptional Achievement Award.”
Jeff and his family enjoy indoor and outdoor activities, family fun time, including dining, travel, cruising, and camping, as well as television production.
